Use Sand: This can be a fun and unique way to make candles easily out of something you may have at home already. Simply fill a tub with wet sand and then create indentations to make the shape you want the candle to have. You don’t want the sand to be dripping, but wet enough that you can shape it easily. Using other things you have around the house can help you make perfect circles, stars, or other shapes. Then pour the candle and allow the wax to harden and cool. Muffin Tin: A muffin pan tin works great for small candles or scented tarts. All you need to do is clean it, then pour the wax into it. A trick for getting the wax to come out is to place the pan in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour and the wax will “shrink” making it easier for them to slide out.
